Over the four days of the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, Dr. Jan Yager met with 21 publishers from 15 countries and 9 agents who cover more than 13 languages

An agent from Germany and her business partner from Italy want to receive physical books as well as electronic files of 11 books:
1. Jon Hewitt’s Frogs Legs
2. Moonbeam Dreams
3. Global Warming for Young Minds
4. Nicolas Power’s Paudie’s Magical Adventure
5. Power’s Paudie’s Terrible Foes
6. The Heart Stone by Raynor Woods
7. Mrs. Poodle and Eric
8. Moonlight by Kevin Hiner
9. Dark Millennium 3 by Christopher D. Corran
10. Vampyre Kisses
11. Innocence by Peggy Headlund

The Bologna Children’s Book Fair is definitely a very different fair from the ones in Taiwan or Abu Dhabi. It is very much a trade show, with the only attendees being those in the book business – publishers, foreign rights managers, authors, illustrators, and printers.
There was no general public.

We see this element of our relationship with Strategic Book Group as the real bread and butter of long-term marketing and promotions. In the short term, we will do what we can to raise the profile of DARK-Millennium 3 (and its Author) via a variety of personal book- signings & etc., but even local sales would benefit from International recognition.

Beginning Monday, 11th April, we will be represented at the London Book Expo. The round of exhibitions is continuous and valuable to the trade.
